Today, experience a highlight of your trip, as you visit the renowned Great Wall. On the way, if traffic allows, stop to photograph the iconic “Bird’s Nest”, the Beijing National Stadium where hosted many spectacular events of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Then, arrive at the amazing Great Wall and walk along its ramparts as emperors once did. After lunch (on your own. Our guide will offer recommendations however.), visit the elegant Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with the largest imperial garden in the world. The grounds include over 3,000 structures with a variety of pavilions, towers and arched bridges surrounding Lake Kunming (enjoy a boat ride if weather permits).

Today, fly to historic Xi’an, former capital of 13 different dynasties over 1100 years across China history. you will be met by our local driver and transferred to your downtown Xi’an hotel. Afterward, visit Beiyuanmen Muslim Street and the Grand Mosque. The local market offers a great selection of Chinese Muslim cuisine and craftsmanship. Then take a guided tour to the City Wall. An Tang Dynasty Dance Show with dumpling banquet is optional for the night.

See the extraordinary 8,000 Terracotta Warriors in all 3 pits built over 2,200 years and only discovered by accident in 1974 by a local villagering digging a well ; visit the tomb site where the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang Di, was buried and see two Bronze Chariots entombed for the Emperor’s afterlife pleasure. Then a tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda follows.

Visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Musuem in the morning. Stop by Hanyangling Tomb, the mausoleum of Jingdi who was the 6th emperor of Han Dynasty. Walk into his tomb underground to inspect his lesser terracotta army. Fly to Zhangjiajie. Get picked up upon arrival and transfer to downtown Zhangjiajie hotel. Free time on your own.

Embark the day to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park which wins its fame for its stunning rock formations and landscapes. Visit major parts of Ten-mile Gallery, Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain, ride world’s fastest and tallest elevator and be awed by the Hallelujah Mountains in real.

Visit Tianmen Mountain, the “Roof of Zhangjiajie,” which is a masterpiece of nature, featuring Tianmen Cave, a colossal natural arch standing 131.5 meters high. Formed by a dramatic cliff collapse in 263 AD, this “Gateway to Heaven” pierces the mountain, often shrouded in mist, creating a breathtaking spectacle. It’s the prestigious host of the WWL Wingsuit Flying World Championship. Fly to Shanghai and our driver will pick you up upon arrival and transfer to downtown Shanghai hotel.

Visit Oriental Pearl Tower, the third tallest TV Tower in the world, to have a panoramic view of the Huangpu River. Then walk around Yu Garden, a renowned traditional Chinese garden to get savor the essence of Chinese gardening art. Enjoy a leisure stroll on the Bund showcasing historical foreign buildings from colonial times.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight home/onward.
