Day 1 Fly to Xian-Visit Terracotta Warriors-Fly to Shanghai (click to expand/collapse)
Transfer to Shanghai Hongqiao/Pudong International Airport on your own and fly from Shanghai to Xian in the early morning (private transfers can be offered at extra cost). Round trip economy class air tickets are included in the price*.
Our Xian tour guide will meet you at Xian Xianyang International Airport in the morning upon arrival. Drive to Terra Cotta Warriors Museum in an hour. You will spend about 2.5- 3 hours at this stunning clay army site which was commissioned 2,200 Years ago by the Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di himself for his afterlife.
Lunch is on your own and our guide will be happy to recommend local restaurants rather than tourist restaurants.
Then transfer to downtown Xi’an to visit Xian City Wall and the Muslim Streets if flight time allows on the day of travel. Then transfer to the airport for return flight back to Shanghai.
