Day by Day Tour Itinerary
This is a sample itinerary which can be customized to suit your needs and plan.
Day 1 • Arrive Shanghai, pickup and free time
Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be met by our local driver and transferred to your downtown Shanghai hotel.
Day 2 • Oriental Pearl Tower, Yu Garden, The Bund, Fly to Xi’an
Visit Oriental Pearl Tower, the third tallest TV Tower in the world, to have a panoramic view of the Huangpu River. Then walk around Yu Garden, a renowned traditional Chinese garden to get savor the essence of Chinese gardening art. Enjoy a leisure stroll on the Bund showcasing historical foreign buildings from colonial times. Fly to Xian, and our driver will pick you up upon arrival and transfer to downtown Xi’an hotel.
Day 3 • Terracotta Warriors, Tomb of the First Emperor, fly to Beijing
See the extraordinary 8,000 Terracotta Warriors in all 3 pits built over 2,200 years and only discovered by accident in 1974 by a local villagering digging a well ; visit the tomb site where the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang Di, was buried and see two Bronze Chariots entombed for the Emperor’s afterlife pleasure. Fly to Beijing, and our driver will pick you up upon arrival and transfer to downtown Beijing hotel.
Day 4 • Beijing tour of Great Wall of China, Forbidden City
Visit the amazing Great Wall of China at Mutianyu section and walk along its ramparts as emperors once did. See the vast Tiananmen Square and the extravagant Ming-era Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, which was the royal residence of over 24 emperors of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty since 1620 to 1911.
Day 5 • Depart Beijing
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight home/onward.
